accredited courses (a combination of in-class intensives and homestudy/practice)
in Dubbo, Peregian Beach (Sunshine Coast, Qld) and Brisbane
for those interested in pursuing a career path in Natural Therapies, as
well as non-accredited short courses.
The College
is a Registered Training Organisation with VETAB (a Government Vocational
Education & Training Accreditation Board) and provides graduates with Nationally
Recognised Training in Dubbo, Brisbane and the Sunshine
Coast for HLT50307 and HLT40307.
Maureen is a
Nationally Recognised Training Provider
Maureen and The
College are also accredited with ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine
Society) and graduates of the College's massage and aromatherapy
courses can apply for membership with ATMS without further assessment.

College are also accredited with PCHA (Professional Clinical
Hypnotherapists Association of Australia Inc) to teach Clinical
Hypnotherapy and graduates of this course can apply for membership with
PCHA without further assessment.

This course, which is a combination of in class intensives and homestudy,
may be undertaken as a two year massage course, or as a second year of study for
those who already have the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice
HLT40307.
This two year massage course takes place with Maureen Harmony & The College of Healing Therapies in
Dubbo, NSW and Sunshine Coast, Qld once a month from February to
November
each year (with homestudy and massage practice)
The next first year segment of the course (Certificate IV) commences February 2009 .......... Enrolments have
already been received so available spaces are now limited.
The second year of the Diploma HLT50307 is a combination of Advanced
Massage Skills, Myofascial Release and Aromatherapy studies and this
HLT50307 course is accredited with VETAB and is ABSTUDY / AUSTUDY approved (please contact me for details on how to apply
for abstudy/austudy).
Graduates will receive the VETAB Diploma of Remedial
Massage HLT50307 and transcript. This is nationally
recognised training.
Graduates of the first year Maureen Harmony Diploma course are able to
undertake post graduate studies with Maureen
in the weekends following their HLT50307 course and receive advanced training in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Deep Muscle Massage,
Polarity, Lymphatic massage techniques and other advanced holistic therapy subjects
(studied in the first year Maureen Harmony Diploma). This additional
study enables graduates of the Diploma HLT50307 to qualify for the
Maureen Harmony Advanced Diploma in Massage, which is accredited with
the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS)

This course concentrates on the study of Aromatherapy.
Course content is comprehensive and interesting, and concentrates on the study of Aromatherapy* and includes Aromatherapy Full Body Massage Techniques, Advanced Aromatherapy Studies, Practical Aromatherapy, Psycho Aromatherapy, Aromatherapy for men, women, children and animals, Mixing of essential oils to make aromatherapy products, Supervised Practical Clinical Training (in class),
Anatomy and Physiology and lots more. Tuition includes many extras.
*Clinical Aromatherapy has a ‘holistic' influence on the body, thoughts
and emotions, and is a therapy suitable for both male and female
clients. Its abilities are so vast that it can be used with the majority
of symptoms, e.g. to calm a baby or relieve the pain of arthritis or
enhance the alertness of a student or athlete in a safe and body
balancing way. It can aid in toning muscles, relaxing nerves and
enhancing your overall massage results. Clients have commented on the
longer lasting results from the massage when particular aromatherapy
oils have been used.

It is my personal and clinical experience over the past twenty five years that everyone can achieve a more satisfying quality of life by changing unwanted thoughts and habits.
With the aid of Clinical Hypnotherapy you can help your clients..... overcome unwanted habits (overeating, smoking, etc), improve their self image, master new skills, improve their memory and concentration, release past unpleasant experiences that are causing dis-ease within the body in a gentle, non-traumatic way...and lots more that I will share with you during the course.
Practical sessions for the Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy take place
eight weekends during the year (e.g. between January and December) with homestudy in between course weekends.
Course content is comprehensive and interesting, and concentrates on the study of Hypnotherapy and includes The Conscious and Inner
Conscious Mind, Hypnotherapy techniques and their practical application for symptom removal, Self hypnosis, Counselling skills, Emotions and understanding their effect on the body, and lots more. The course content is presented in a practical and easy to understand format with lots of case history references and opportunities to practice your new skills under supervision. Graduates of the course are eligible to apply for membership to the Professional Clinical Hypnotherapists of Australia Inc. without having to undertake further assessment.
